Thank you for considering supporting Odyssea!
As a non-profit association, Odyssea depends on the support of our members, donors, and sponsors to drive our mission. Every contribution, whether large or small, makes an impact by funding fieldwork, conference participation, essential equipment, and new outreach materials. Even modest donations can significantly help early-career researchers, enabling them to present at scientific conferences or travel to remote field sites.
If you’d like to support Odyssea’s work, there are three ways to get involved:
1
One-time donation
2
Annual Membership
3
Sponsorship
- Make a One-Time Donation: Any amount helps sustain our conservation and research efforts. Odyssea a.s.b.l. is NOT YET registered as an association “d’utilité publique” as such it is not yet possible to deduct donations from taxes unfortunately. However, we are aiming to apply for this status in the upcoming year.
- Become a Member of Odyssea a.s.b.l.: Join us with an annual membership of just €20. Members enjoy invitations to our Annual General Meeting and can actively contribute to our projects and future goals.
- Become a Sponsor: Your organisation can become an official sponsor of Odyssea. We proudly display sponsor logos on all our visual materials and online platforms, offering public recognition for your support.

Future ambitions
Odyssea is currently run entirely by dedicated volunteers, which limits our ability to expand our reach and develop new initiatives. Our long-term vision is to fund one or two salaried positions to handle governance and focus on growing our programmes. To achieve this, we are seeking sustainable funding to secure these roles, which would greatly enhance our impact in marine conservation.
